Dr. Pépin has over ten years of experience in patent, which includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications for inventions in electronics, software, and networking. Dr. Pépin also has worked extensively in patent portfolio analysis, reverse engineering, and infringement analysis. He has significant experience working with patents in the fields of semiconductors and telecommunications, including both hardware and software.

Dr. Pépin is fluent in English and French.

Education
Dr. Pépin holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Memorial University of Newfoundland and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in physics from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario. His doctorate and post-doctorate work is related to polymer science. Dr. Pépin has published over a dozen scientific papers.
